Excitement abounds! Our school has been nominated for a National Title I Distinguished School award. I wanted to share our digital portfolio with you. Take a minute to check out the video--it's inspiring! The best part is listening to the students talk about what they love about our school. I'm so proud of our students, teachers, and administration. Fingers crossed--we're supposed to hear about the award this week.
UPDATE: We found out today (11/9): WE WON! Our students, community, faculty, and staff are thrilled. We're humbled by the challenges we face every day and there is more work tomorrow. These are our kids and nothing is more important.
