The Writing Project Experience

   Janiel Wagstaff has just developed a professional development experience specifically designed to get teachers excited and comfortable about teaching writing in a daily workshop format and across the curriculum. During the three day experience, teachers will produce, revise, and conference about writing as a means of broadening their own experience with the process. Additionally, many practical, classroom-proven strategies will be explored to help teachers make writing a routine, manageable reality. Janiel will provide simple solutions to challenging issues like getting started in the writing process, editing and revising student work, handling the paper load, managing the classroom, grading, peer sharing and responding, spelling, conferencing and differentiating instruction.

   Your teachers will love the workshop and leave with renewed enthusiasm and commitment to writing everyday with students.
